We splurged and got a front row seat.
Boats start departing every 20 minutes at 9:50. We took the 10:30 boat and arrived shortly after. We had reserved lunch at the restaurant at 1:15 which gave us enough time for a swim and to settle in. Lunch was awesome. The eggplant pasta was flavorful as was the lemon pasta. The burrata appetizer was nice for a warm summer day. Our package came with a bottle of champagne which we chose to drink after our lunch by our chairs. They do a fun lemnoncello shot session around 4pm. They have a great selection of drinks and food in addition to what comes with the package. Overall a great experience.
Arienzo is a tourist trap to its core.
Do not get sucked into this experience. My wife and I paid for the caviar experience w/ Dom. When we arrived the umbrellas look old/dirty. They are spaced close to everyone and do not move to avoid the sun. The caviar was my favorite part although they brought out plastic cups with "dom" although it didn't taste like dom at all. The food is bleh like microwaved frozen Italian food. The price of this experience and what you get is drastically different (not worth it). There are a couple other beach clubs I reviewed so please take a look at my profile. I came and then left immediately. The gentleman who took us back to positano was the nicest and the reason I'm giving 2 stars.
Amazing Spot with Incredible Staff
What a beautiful day!! A big thank you to Amalia and Antonio – the experience was truly fantastic! The staff was incredibly friendly, easygoing, and always available, making us feel at ease right away. The place is stunning, well-maintained, and just perfect, with great music to relax and enjoy the sea. I highly recommend the Arienzo Beach Club to anyone nearby. We’ll definitely be back! Paradise just by Positano beach
We had heard very mixed reviews of Arienzo but decided to go ahead and book anyway to make our own opinions. - and I’m so glad we did! After days of exploring amalfi and getting dressed up for fine-dining restaurants we wanted a day to lay down and sunbathe and relax. We booked the 10:30 slot, upon arriving the Positano beach we were given a sticker and invited to sit in the waiting area for the boat, where water and champagne were provided whilst you waited under shade. The boat was only 5 or so minutes and gave us a wonderful view of Positano and surrounding coves. Upon arrival we were greeted and shown to our bed, and the menu etc were explained. Our bed came with towels, champagne and a 2 course lunch which you could choose to eat at your bed or in the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and took time to chat with you about your trip. We ordered coffees, then moved onto champagne and mimosas in the afternoon. The water was clear, still and a nice place to swim. We even cliff dived in the afternoon. We had lunch up in the restaurant, the menu had photos of the food on the app so was easy to choose. We opted for the burrata which was delicious, the fried courgette flowers with a marinara sauce which were also nice Then we followed this with the canaloni and the fried squid/prawns which were both nice Overall the food was good for a beach club! In the afternoon they have ‘lemon cello time’ where sunbeds are set up by the sea and guests are invited to have lemon cello poured into their mouths by waiters - this was the only really ‘rowdy’ part of the day, but if guests didn’t want to join in then it was far enough away to not be involved We joined in and the lemon cello was lovely! You could choose to head back by boat whenever you wanted, they came frequently Overall a great day, very chilled (other than lemon cello time) - some of the drinks were quite expensive but it’s to be expected in this part of the world
Overpriced, misleading and a huge disappointment – avoid!
I had a truly awful experience at Arienzo Beach Club in Positano. They charged us €200 per person for the last row of sunbeds, which are basically stuck under the restaurant, crammed together with zero space, no sea view and absolutely no chance to relax. When I politely asked if we could move to the fifth row for the same price (since it was already 1pm), the owner claimed it was “fully booked” – yet the website still showed plenty of availability. Dishonest and disrespectful. The prices here are simply absurd for what you get. Yes, the location is beautiful (it’s Positano, after all), but the service is poor, the attitude towards customers is dismissive, and the whole setup feels like a cash grab rather than a premium experience. For €200, you’d expect at least some transparency, comfort and a real spot on the beach – not a cramped corner under a pergola behind people having lunch. Save your money and your day – go somewhere else. Total rip-off.
Disappointment
We will never come back again. It became a place for drunk tourists, the spirit of the club is not the same as few years ago.
Gorgeous and fun!
Gorgeous beach and so much fun! Price of beds comes with a nice meal at the restaurant and a bottle of wine so honestly all in all was worth it. They were very well organized and easy to locate in Positano to take quick boat over, which was also fun! Staff was super nice, drinks were fantastic and great vibe. One of our favorite days of the trip!
Beach Day in Positano - Arienzo Beach Club
Beautiful spot, and can’t beat the crystal clear Mediterranean Sea water. Food was good, although the menu is short and this place is expensive. But we thought it was worth it.
Quick Private Beach Getaway
Well worth spending the day here when visiting Positano. Quick 10 min boat ride to the beach club, service was excellent overall! We particularly liked that the loungers had built in canopies especially during the hottest parts of the day (12-2). Included lunch was pretty good as well, would recommend to anyone visiting that wants a more upscale beach experience!
Amazing beach day!
We had such a great time at Arienzo beach club! We booked the package that includes 2 glasses of Dom champagne, caviar appetizer and lunch. We thought it was well worth it. There is a separate pier at Positano beach to catch their boat taxi. Upon arrival, they have a shaded outdoor lounge with cold drinks. They take you to the private beach in their boat taxi which has a cute teddy bear and Guess Beach orange pillows. The beach area was great with lounge chairs and umbrellas and a table. It was nice that it was not crowded at all unlike the beach area at the Positano beach. The package we got included lunch, 1 starter and 1 main for each person. I got the caprese salad and sea bass. Delicious and the fish was very fresh. There is a kitchen at the beach shack where I could see them make the food. They even have a DJ spinning tunes. There are flushing toilets. They have the same boat taxi that makes sure everyone gets a boat ride back so no worries about walking back. Great experience and highly recommend.

The whole beach club process is executed really well.
The boat ride from the main positano beach is a short 5 minute ride and it the water was smooth the day we went. They had a private waiting area set up beforehand, with drinks like water and Prosecco. The beach club itself is thoughtfully laid out. You aren't too close to anyone and the water is great for swimming. The beach is rocky so just bring water shoes or be prepared for your feet to hurt when walking on it. Our reservation experience included a bottle of Prosecco, two entrees and two starters. The food was actually quite good! Even though we got some rain on our day, the employees made sure everyone had enough towels, and helped moved everyone under umbrellas. I really enjoyed the amount of shade from the sun that the umbrellas and personal chair awnings gave us. Employees were constantly walking around asking if anyone needed anything. They were very attentive! My one critique is the bathroom situation - 1 single stall for females and 1 single stall for men. This often resulted in long lines and running out of toilet paper. They did keep the bathrooms clean throughout the day though!

Well worth it. Something for all ages, from the Lemonciello time to the fast bathroom queues, the beach club was well planned. Bonus, the add on cooking class was out of this world, exceeding any expectation you could ever have.

We got the package that included front row seating and a photography session. Antonio was so amazing. He made us feel at ease for the photos and ensured we had good angles and lighting. Would totally do it again and the beach club itself was so fun! Loved limoncello time!

You definitely need to make a reservation in advance if you want to go to arienzo beach club. We went with the package that included a bottle of wine, two bottles of water, and 2 course lunch at the beach chairs. When making your reservation, you have to pick a lunchtime. You do not have the ability to order earlier than the time you selected once on site so be sure to keep that in mind when reserving in advance. We ordered the barata starter, the octopus starter, the squid pasta, and the spaghetti with pumpkins, muscles, and ricotta cheese. Overall the food was pretty good. The squid pasta was a little too much squid for my liking. You can get to the beach club by foot or by boat. Your ticket includes the boat transfer, which is about a five minute ride from the main port. Plan to take the boat about 20min ahead of your reservation time since the boat has limited seating and you may have to wait for the next one. We received complementary Evian refreshing body spray which was nice. They have merchandise available for purchase, including cups T-shirts fans. My husband bought a tee shirt and it seems to be really good quality. In order to leave you need to close out and then you will receive a wrist band that is your "ticket" back on the boat.
Fun Day at a private beach
Fun day. A little pricey and lunch is more a machine than a relaxing event. The Beach club is situated in a more private area and it has limited seats so it makes the day nice and easy. Lots of employees to attend to you. The only drawback I might comment on is that the lunch was a little rushed as they wanted to get people seated and moving on.
Don’t waste money
Have stayed in positano many times.I can recall paying 20euros for a bed at Arienzo before covid went back resently and was blown away the man told us you cud pay up to 800euros for 2 at the front for a day wow unreal a few years ago 20euros nothing to shout about the beach is lovely really nic but not worth the money you are being robbed.

Got very sick for their food
Beach was nice service need improvement, however we paid almost 800 euros and the food was so small only a starter and main course, also we had very very bad food poisoning lasted for 2 days completely ruined our holiday ( please find the picture of uncooked meatballs ) that they served us. For that amount of money we should expect something extra and after that food poisoning i think everybody should look carefully to the foood they serve
Very surprised at how fun it was
I had very low expectations when my 17 yr old daughter asked for us to go to this beach club. I thought we might stay an hour and leave, but we ended up having a great time. My son who is 13 loved it too. Food was great as lunch was included with our reservation. The staff could not have been more attentive and when one or two people snuck in , they promptly helped them leave. They sell tshirt s, cups, sunscreen, hoodies and some other items in case you forget something. Highly recommend!
2 stars only because it's a free beach and bathroom.
However, we wanted to have lunch. It's a long way down. Very long way down to the club. They told us it was full for lunch. They said we could use the bathroom and beach for free, which isn't nothing, just not what we went for.
Absolutely not worth all the hype
Absolute no go and not worth all the hype around it. Just to say it up front - place itself is nice and gorgeous, 10min walk from the main street down to the beach is fine and will present you a lot of astonishing views.. but this is basically it. 1.Service. As we arrived - no welcoming face ( at least an impression of it.. ), One lady tried to "sell" us a "really last spot" ( 2 sunbeds & 1 umbrella + lunch & dinner & transfer - even I mentioned transfer it´s not needed, since we arrived by car.. maybe transfer with a private jet to the top of the rock where we parked? Rethorical question.. ) So, please hold on: for 500€ :) As we arrived at 12pm, opening times of this beach club are till 6pm.. so.. no comments.. you can compare the amount with potential spent hours.. Long story short - we spent the day on another side of the beach, which is for free and this club was not even fully booked, as we got informed by the entry.. 2. English - Very poor or not even ability to talk.. Seriously? Not expecting high level here, but at least some basics should be in. Such a shame. 3. The quality of the beach - sand beach on Amalfi coast are super rare ( even thou can recommend IL Bikini beach club - sand & excellent service for 60€ for full day btw )so here, please keep in mind to have special shoes to walk on stones in water and to get to the water, as during hot weather it´s a unique "fun" to walk on heated stones to be honest.. All in one - to spent some hours for swimming is super fine, not for visiting this beach club. Every traveler is aware, that the actual price is lower by certain %s, anyway willing to pay.. but in this place is 100%+ add on, which is not reliable and not worth the money to be honest. There are way more other beach clubs in that area, where you get great and welcoming service without paying shamelessly-crazy money, combined with feeling of being treated as a dump walking wallet, a la tourist :)
Not Worth the Money
I visited Arienzo Beach Club with a friend on a recent trip to the Amalfi Coast. This was my first time going to a beach club in Italy, so that may have colored some of my experience. However, I compared prices and amenities to other beach clubs in the area and feel that this review is still valid. While it was nice to spend the day at the beach, it was absolutely not worth the amount of money you'll spend here to do it. It seems like there are far cheaper options in the area with nearly the same amenities. In terms of the positive parts of the experience, the free boat that takes you to the beach club from the main port of Positano is a lovely experience. Additionally, the lounge chairs and towels are quite comfortable. The negatives of the experience are many. The service provided at the beach club was below average, with some of the employees making my friend and I feel uncomfortable. The facilities for the bathroom and changing room are below average. The "changing room" is literally just an umbrella with a few pieces of fabric around it. The food at the club was also below average. My friend ordered a cannoli for dessert (something you pay extra for) and it came out frozen with literal freezer burn on the sides. Considering the fact that my friend and I paid 450 euros (the lowest package available) for our day at the beach club, we were extremely underwhelmed with the experience. Based on the reviews for this club, we were really excited and ultimately let down by our experience at Arienzo Beach Club.
Terrilble from start to finish! Do not believe the hype of social media..
We was excited to attend the beach club that seems to be every where on social media but do not be fooled by it! Terrible menu with terrible food We paid for and was told that we would be getting 2 x Starter and 2 x Main course as per the menu which we booked with at the time. We was instead given a significantly reduced menu with hardly anything similar to the menu originally booked. We was told by staff that the menu had changed the day before our visit (18/06/2024) which is ultimately not good enough. Since we sent an email to request a full/partial refund for all the points below which we have been told this is not possible. We was provided with minimal food options and one of them being a Mozzarella and tomato sandwich which was so stale and barely edible. We complained about this at the time, but have been informed via email that as we did not raise it we will not be receiving a refund. No DJ as promised We was also told there would be a DJ which would play music throughout the day. However, there was little music which could only be heard if you was close to the main restaurant. Again, we asked the staff why was there no DJ. We was subsequently told this was due to neighbors complaining about the noise and that the beach club was forbidden to have a DJ for a week!!! This should not be a customers fault and we should be told prior to the visit about issues like this. Drinks given to us which had already been drunk! Finally and worst of all the wrong drinks were delivered to a row in front of us. Once the couple in front of us had a sip, the waiter realized. Instead of bringing us fresh drinks, we gave us the same drinks given to them which they had drunk out of!!!!!!!!!! We could not believe it and called the manager. We ended up leaving immediately after as the day could not get any worse. Last of all, we have been told we will not be getting any kind of refund as we did not raise it at the time... which we did! But as the staff could not care less there was nothing we could do.

Don’t waste your money. We fell for the social media hype and the reality was totally different. No party vibe whatsoever. Spent almost $1000 for four people to be packed in like sardines. Music so low you could hear a pin drop. No hot food dishes were offered as advertised when I made the reservation months ago.

OVERRATED, SCAM, CHEAP
OVERRATED CHEAP Save your time and money. We ignored this from a local and sadly they were not far from the reality. You think you’re going to a luxurious experience but it’s nothing what was expected. With SO many other nicer, well curated beach clubs this one sadly is all show on social media. Worst experience by far.

Disappointed
We were looking forward to going to the beach club months before our trip, we had seen a YouTube video so for me it was a must to visit this beach. I was so very much disappointed as we were only able to use the chairs for 3 hours due to the weather and not sure why they didn’t cancel for the day. We had reserved the front row which is not cheap but was not worth the hope at all. Water was so high that from the beginning the waves were all over our chairs, didn’t enjoy at all it’s a shame that they didn’t close or cancel for the day so we could have reschedule.
Honeymooners
My Husband and I had one of our favorite days on our honeymoon at Arienzo! We loved the boat access to the private beach! The bottle that was included in the package was such a great perk of the day! Our lunch was delicious (Both the appetizer & main course)! We purchased a beautiful platter that we now have hung on our wall to remember this day! Roman at the club was exceptional and really made the day one to remember! Arienzo exceeded all expectations!

We arrived at the beach by chance and the staff welcomed us so nicely. It was an amazing day in a very high class. The service was very courteous and the food excellent. Everything is clean and tidy, good music and a great atmosphere. Hope to come back again soon!
Best experience!
The best day of our trip! The staff (Antonio) was extremely accommodating, went out of their way to assist us. We had a reserved lunch time on the deck and they were right on time and the food was delicious. Great vibes, great access to the water and free shuttle service from the main pier directly to the beach club. Highly recommend!!

Arienzo was a great getaway from the crowded beaches in Positano. It is pricey like others mentioned below but you will have an amazing and relaxing experience. Your ticket includes reserved seating, an app, an entree, and bottle of champagne. It felt nice to be secluded from the big crowds! The music and ambience was great and the waiters (who mixed up peoples orders sometimes) were accommodating.
Its ok if you are 20 and have never been to Vegas
Arienzo beach club is considered one of the best, however if you travel a lot an know clubs please lower expectations. And then again it is the choice in Positano. You will make a reservation and pay a real estate for your row with row one being most expensive. They have a cliff jumping area if you are brave enough, and you jump at your own risk! The food is ok, drinks ok, service is ok. If you are not familiar with Italian beaches this is a pebble and rock beach, so be prepared with proper sandals or just do your best with bare feet. They do offer a private shuttle boat from a few different cities mostly Positano. It’s highly rated because it is small, expensive and somewhat exclusive. Have fun if you can get in.
Best day of our vacation!
This was hands down one of the top 10 days of my life !!! We did the elite experience which was first row, 2 bottles of nice champagne and lunch. You can choose to eat lunch at the restaurant above or at the sunbed. We chose the restaurant. It was a beautiful view and nice shade. Food was delicious ! The water was perfect, they have noodles for you to use to bob on. It was simply amazing. Very expensive but I think worth it ! I’m not sure why on the website and suggests for you to take a private water taxi there. There is a free shuttle offered by the beach club from a pier in the middle of the main beach in Positano. We arrived at 11:30 and took the last shuttle back at 6 PM. Amazing day !
Really disappointed
While I’m not one to ever leave a negative review, I am extremely disappointed and shocked with my experience with Arienzo. We arrived to the beach club and spent about an hour on the beach where we enjoyed our first bottle of champagne then we had our lunch reservation. Once we returned back to our sun beds we recognised a bit of panic among other beach goers and staff as the waves became intense and the tide came in. Within 30 minutes the tide came up to the 4th row where we were seated. The whole beach began to flood so we were told to evacuate the beach immediately. Before evacuating the staff made us all line up not to offer refunds but to make us all pay for any outstanding fees. Once I paid we then had to climb many stairs and had no help with organising transport so we had to walk home. While I know weather cannot be controlled, to have spent $900 Australian dollars to sit at a beach club for 2.5hrs not even getting to enjoy the drinks included in this price was really upsetting. I tried contacting Arienzo many many times with no replies. Once I finally did get a response they were rude, unhelpful and smug. I was offered a discount if I come next year to their club.. while I didn’t expect a full refund, some kind of compensation or a partial refund would have been appreciate if not warranted. Many of the people evacuated believed there would be no way they didn’t know about the tide or ocean conditions earlier that day.

We loved our experience here! It was such a wonderful day spent relaxing, eating and swimming at the beach club. The club has an overall luxurious vibe with attentive waiters, good music and even live music with a saxophone player. They sell the beach club experience in a package. Our package included two beach chairs in the fourth row, a bottle of champagne, appetizers and an entree. We thought the package was a great value for our experience. The food was very good - we chose bruschetta, octopus and pasta dishes. Everything was good but our favorite was the octopus! We were happy about our decision to sit in the 4th row as this was a better value for us and when we wanted to get a better view of the water we just simply walked up for a swim. We also ordered additional Aperol spritz which were so refreshing but a bit more expensive then the majority of restaurants in Italy. Some details on arrival/departure - we chose to arrive by hiking the Path of Gods. The hike was beautiful and having the beach club at the end was the perfect motivation. If you chose to do this I would give yourself three hours for the hike as there are about 2,000 steps down and this takes time! We did not give ourselves enough time and arrived late for our lunch reservation. We were not able to sit at the restaurant due to being late but they served us at our beach chair which was very relaxing! After arriving they had changing rooms which made it easy for us to transition to our beach club attire. When it came time to leave we took the boat shuttle back to Positano which was a ton of fun and a great way to see Positano by boat.

If you're wondering whether it's worth it to spend the money to come here for your own chair and food/drinks. It 100 percent is. Without a doubt the smartest decision we made here visiting Positano. Good vibes, nice views, fun music, servers are a bit aloof but friendly, my fiances cocktail was excellent and you dont have to deal with the insane crowds on the main beaches. Worth the money.
Just another beach at a price!
My expectations were higher than reality. At the end of the day this is just another beach in Italy but it comes with a hefty price. So therefore, IMO not worth it. If you have nothing else to do then go - but I would suggest going to other beaches for 20-40Euro loungers instead. My biggest complaint was the food is disgusting! By far the worst meal we had in Italy. If you are charging those prices (which is mainly alcohol) your food better be up to par also.
A must!
My husband and I booked a sun bed months in advanced and realized very last minute WE booked the wrong date. Antonio was very helpful and accommodating and fit us in last minute to the day we wanted. We had an incredible day. They have super comfortable beach chairs, yummy lunch, good music and amazing service. Totally a must for honeymooners and couples!

They food is delicious. They treat you like royalty with exemplary service. Get the upper package to experience an outstanding day. Food and drinks flowing while you have an amazing beach day. Private beach taken by boat from Positano dock. Went last summer. Edit. They now only give champagne and increased their pricing. Not sure if $800 euro a couple is worth it

Loved our experience here!!! Really exceeded our expectations. It's a quick boat ride from Positano to a private beach where the wait staff really cater to your needs. There are multiple staggered boats so if you miss one, you can take another ~30 minutes later. I get seasick easily and didn't have an issue with the boat ride (I did take Dramamine ahead of time just in case). They provide you with a bubbly, umbrellas, and a menu of drinks to purchase. It's not crowded and they play mellow tropical house music in the background. The lunch here was also awesome. If you don't want to stay the whole time, you can also walk back to Positano instead of waiting for the boat at 3pm. Highly recommended!

Arienzo Beach Club was so much fun! It was super easy to catch the shuttle from the main Positano beach; a quick 5-10 min boat ride down to their beach. Greeted and hosted with the best service--we splurged on front row seats for our honeymoon and the bottle of champagne included was delicious! Our lunch reservation was for noon, but prior to that they brought some complimentary snacks--nuts, olives, etc. At lunch we ordered wines by the glass-- French rose for me and an Italian white for my husband, both were so good. Our appetizers were the caprese salad and the mixed vegetables--both were super fresh and really good. Our entrees weren't as great--my husband got the pasta with zucchini (not a ton of zucchini, pasta was just okay), and I had the gnocchi with seafood--portions of protein were super minimal but sort of to be expected for a daytime beach restaurant. Also ordered Aperol spritzes and beers back at our chairs, the service was easy and friendly, they constantly checked in with us all day. So nice that the club is set on a cove and you can actually swim in the water, too--the waves aren't big at all! I'd definitely come here again.
Best Thing We Did in Positano!
We were on our honeymoon in Positano and booked the Arienzo Beach Club and we couldn't have been happier. In fact, we had such a great time, we booked it for a second day that same week. It is a gorgeous beach and the staff are so friendly and attentive - especially Antonio! It is a bit pricey (depending on which package you get), but so worth it based on all of the food and drinks you get with the package. Also, the fact that there is a boat shuttle that picks you up and drops you off at the main pier in Positano is so helpful. We cannot recommend this enough and will definitely be returning if we're back in Positano!

Each posting on AppointmentTrader shows you which user submitted it and along with that provides a trackrecord of that user which indicates how much experience
the user has and how many percent of their transactions resulted in them issuing a refund.
If there is no user posting that fits your schedule, you can bid on your preferred time.
Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Arienzo Beach Club Positano at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Arienzo Beach Club Positano page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FulfilledThread16, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* FulfilledThread16 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FulfilledThread16 for any questions Peter may have as FulfilledThread16 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FulfilledThread16 now uses their connections at Arienzo Beach Club Positano to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FulfilledThread16 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FulfilledThread16 receives the $200 reward which is credited to FulfilledThread16's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Arienzo Beach Club Positano!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
