Good food
Enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The broth was delicious and the noodles tasted great! The ngoh hiang was pretty good too. Would come again
My new favourite prawn noodle
Amazing experience at Zhup Zhup by One Prawn & Co! The prawn broth was rich and flavourful, and they even offered me a free refill of the soup. The noodles were tasty and satisfying, and the tasting plate for the sides was perfect to try a bit of everything. Great service and delicious food — highly recommend!
Shiok Prawn Mee, Worth the Hype
Last visited Zhup Zhup back in 2022 and recently rediscovered it again — and honestly, it was as good (if not even better) than I remembered. Ordered the Zhup Zhup Supreme and the Tasting Platter for 2. The moment the noodles came, I was instantly hit by the aroma of the prawn broth. The soup was served super hot — which I love — and every sip was rich, umami and flavourful without being too heavy or jelak. The prawns were fresh and juicy, and the noodles had a nice spring. I also tried the dry version with beehoon + yellow noodles and chili, which turned out to be a really solid combo. The ngoh hiang platter was shiok too — crispy, savoury, and went perfectly with the noodles. All in all, Zhup Zhup really hits the spot if you’re a prawn mee lover. It’s comforting, flavour-packed, and confirm worth the calories. If you’re in the area, don’t miss it.
Rich bowl of prawn noodle
Soup was rich in flavour and portions were really big. Ordered the shabu meat with prawn noodles and also the ngoh hiang and sotong you tiao! Partner ordered the supreme prawn noodles which came with ingredients like prawn ball, clams and large prawns! I loved how they served the soup in a separate clay pot which kept the soup hot and pipping and the noodles were cooked just right. Ingredients were all fresh and we were delighted with our meal!
Zhup Zhup supreme prawn noodles
Missed One Prawn n Co but their new Zhup Zhup is not bad too! Portion is huge and the ngoh hiang is still as good! But just something missing from the glorious One Prawn days. Overall still a great meal with my favorite Supreme Prawn noodle.
Delicious elevated prawn noodles with amazing sides
Decided to try out Zhup Zhup after hearing about it online and it did not disappoint! We tried the supreme noodles which boasted hotpot broth rich in flavour and was packed with pork ribs, lala and prawns. Customers get to choose from the standard variety of noodles, which can be served dry or with soup - both were equally delicious! The ngoh hiang also had good variety to complement the noodles, and the drinks were refreshing for a sunny afternoon.
Prawn Noodles with a Modern Twist!
A popular spot for prawn noodles in Macpherson, having been awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand. We ordered the supreme prawn noodles, consisting of noodles (either soup or dry; we had both) and a claypot of broth bursting with umami and packed with ingredients. The prawns were fresh and succulent, the tobiko prawn balls were springy and the lala was sweet, pairing well with the broth. The pork ribs provided much needed bite and meatiness to our meal, but had slightly too much boar taint to our liking. However, this did not distract much from the heartiness of the broth, which was good enough to be a meal by itself! We also ordered some sides, with the fragrant and sharp taste of the ngoh hiang's five spice complementing the thickness of the broth in particular. Paired our meal with a refreshing cup of lime juice and we had the perfect lunch. A perfect choice for prawn noodle enthusiasts looking for a modern twist!
Delicious prawn noodles with pork ribs!
Perfect meal to have on a cool evening! Thoroughly enjoyed both the orders. The classic prawn noodles soup had a thick tasty broth and the kwayteow was soft yet chewy. Shout out to the classic prawn soup with pork ribs - it had a sweet lingering taste on top of the already delicious broth. The prawns were also fresh and the ribs were tender. The coffee shop space is also newly renovated making it comfortable and clean to dine at. Will recommend!
Rich, umami and comforting prawn noodle soup!
I am a big fan of prawn noodles, so I was rather excited to try out Zhup Zhup when I found out it had been awarded the Michelin bib gourmand. My friend and I ordered the classic prawn noodle soup, and a dry noodle version of the prawn and pork ribs soup. When the soups arrived, you get hit immediately with fragrance of the umami, rich prawn broth bubbling away in front of you, which I really loved! I love my soups HOT so you can be sure that they served it that way haha, and I felt it also brought out the flavors of the broth better when served hot too. The prawn noodle soup was everything I had imagined and more, and the soup that came with the pork ribs and prawns surprisingly tasted slightly sweeter compared to the soup that only had prawns. The kway teow noodles were thin and springy, which I feel can be rather hard to find in Singapore as you’d find the thicker ones normally, so plus points for that! We got a mix of the beehoon and yellow noodles with chili for the dry version, which was a good combination too. When eating prawn noodles, you also got to pair it with some ngoh hiang and prawn crackers, which was decent and went well with the noodles! After trying Zhup Zhup, I can definitely understand why it got a Michelin bib! The soup broth was really fragrant and rich, and you can drink quite a bit of it before it gets too jelak haha. If you’re in the area do give it a shot :)
Prawn noodles served in claypot
Rich and flavorful prawn noodles, broth served in a claypot. Pork ribs were tender. Portion is big, enough for 2. Fried Hokkien Mee has a pleasant wok hei. Prawns are fresh. Ngoh hiang platter was average
umami in a bowl
zhupzhup’s famous prawn broth did not disappoint, it was very delicious and flavourful! the noodles and paofan gave two different variations to how the broth could be served! the ngoh hiang tasting plate also added a nice crispy touch to the meal!
prawn broth is 10/10
we ordered the soup prawn noodles with tobiko prawn balls & prawns, seafood paofan and ngoh hiang tasting platter. the prawn broth was full of umami and very delicious! the noodles were cooked perfectly as well. the prawns served were very fresh and juicy! the seafood paofan had three prawns and many clams! broth was equally tasty and the portion was very filling. really enjoyed the ngoh hiang plate as well and the chilli was very delicious and went very well with it!

Rich and flavourful prawn broth!
I've heard many good things about Zhup Zhup, and I'm so happy I finally got to try it! The prawn broth was rich and flavorful—just the way I like it, and the prawns were fresh and juicy. The ngoh hiang platter, paired with its chili sauce, is also a must-try. Can't wait to be back to try the other dishes next time!
Delicious Claypot Prawn Mee
Finally visited Zhup Zhup Prawn Mee after hearing so many good reviews about this place. I had the dry prawn mee which was really delicious, with the chilli packing a serious punch. The broth, served in a traditional claypot, is incredibly rich and flavourful, perfectly balancing the sweetness of the prawns with a deep, savoury taste. Overall, it was a really satisfying and hearty meal.
Best Dry Prawn Noodles
I had the Dry Prawn Noodles on a rainy evening. The broth is served in a traditional claypot, keeping everything piping hot. The broth boasts a savoury taste, infused with the essence of fresh prawns. I chose springy yellow noodles and thick beehoon for a mix of textures in each bite. I added har cheong gai to complete my meal. One of the best decisions I’ve made this week. Also, do note that wait times can be longer due to the restaurant's popularity.
Came for the prawn mee, stayed for the ngo hiang
Enjoyed the food here. There's a bit of a queue at dinnertime but service was prompt and efficient. The prawn soup is thick and flavorful as advertised, and they're generous with the prawns too. Definitely can believe that they spend all those hours boiling the prawn heads to create the soup. But to me the star of the show was the ngo hiang. I got the tasting platter, and it came freshly fried and was super crispy without being oily. The quantity you get is good for the price and there's a good variety.
Best ngoh hiang
Amazing food - ngoh hiang was super tasty, best in town! The vibes were also amazing so this place is definitely worth a visit
supreme prawn broth
cosy ambience, delicious and thick broth, tasty ngoh hiang. one of a kind prawn noodle, definitely must try! the broth is cooked for more than 20hours hence the intense flavour and texture.
Amazing Premium Prawn Noodle Place!
Flavourful prawn noodles that is different from the rest! Ultra rich prawn broth with juicy prawns and a hokkien mee with premium ingredients and intense wok hei and strong fragrant flavour profile. The ngoh hiang tasting platter was also absolutely delicious with their pairing chilli sauce and sweet sauce, definitely coming back!
Unforgettable prawn noodle broth!! 👍🏼
Ordered the prawn noodle soup, ngoh hiang and claypot hokkien mee 👍🏼 Loved the broth of the prawn noodles (very thick and tasty) and the wok hey taste in the hokkien mee! Chilli was sweet and yummy too, I’ll be back!
So flavourful!
Ordered the claypot hokkien mee, was very flavourful and the portion was very generous, was given a lot of ingredients like prawns and clams! Super filling! We also ordered the cheese otah ngoh hiang, it goes very well with the sauce provided. Wanted to ask for more but we were already too full with our mains. My partner ordered the DIY prawn noodle soup. It was nice that we can DIY it and choose what ingredients to be added! Our prawn noodle soup had prawn balls and sliced pork. Really an amazing meal!
Hearty meal!
Very quick and attentive service despite the crowd. Way a hearty meal to end a long day with some pipping hot prawn noodle soup. My partner had the hokkien mee which was bursting with umami and a hint of wokhey! The cheese otah was our favourite. Overall great place for fuss free dinner that left us satisfied 😌
Unforgettable Prawn Noodle that packs a punch!
Had dinner at Zhup Zhup by One Prawn & Co on a weekday night and ordered the Supreme Prawn Noodle Dry, Claypot Hokkien Mee, and Nor Hiang Tasting Platter. The Supreme Prawn Noodle Dry was a standout, bursting with a robust seafood flavor, sweet and fresh prawns, and a delightful tobiko ball. The Claypot Hokkien Mee was an unexpected delight, filled with wok hei that elevated the dish. The crispy Ngoh Hiang and tasty prawn crackle rounded off a thoroughly enjoyable meal.
CLAYPOT AND PRAWN NOODLES? HEAVENLY COMBI
First time trying claypot style prawn noodles and it is heavenly! Supreme Prawn Noodle (Dry) The soup is full of umami, with intense flavours as you would expect from a claypot dish! Noodles was ok but the star would be the soup and all the fresh ingredients! (Especially the prawns 😋) Claypot Hokkien Mee BEST. HOKKIEN. MEE. Must order whenever you go here! Ngoh Hiang tasting platter Crispy as it can be, prawn fritter is the best I’ve tasted with no Oily after taste that most prawn fritters have!
Delicious Prawn Noodles
I dropped by Zhup Zhup by One Prawn & Co on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and was thoroughly impressed by both the prawn noodles and the ngoh hiang assortment. My partner and I ordered their signature prawn noodles (which can be customised to your liking) & a small ngoh hiang platter for sharing. The prawn noodles boasted a rich flavor profile, and for my prawn noodles, my selection of ebiko ball and signature prawn were delightful. The ngoh hiang platter, especially when enjoyed with their chili sauce, is an absolute standout and a must get when visiting! That being said, queues can get quite long on the weekends so be sure to make an online reservation to skip the lengthy lines. We had made a reservation & were swiftly seated upon arrival. The courteous staff, who thoughtfully provided chestnut drinks to waiting patrons, enhanced the overall experience. The gentleman who served us was bright and welcoming as well. Excellent cuisine and service! Would definitely recommend!
Delicious prawn noodle
I visited this prawn noodle shop in the afternoon and loved both the prawn noodles and the ngoh hiang platter. The prawn noodles were flavorful, and my choices of ebiko ball and shabu shabu were spot on. The ngoh hiang platter, paired with its chili sauce, is a must-try. Reserve online to avoid the long queue. The friendly staff, who even offered chestnut drinks to those waiting, made the experience even better. Great food and service!
PRAWN NOODLES >>>
I tried the Prawn Noodle Soup and the Ngoh Hiang Tasting Platter. I think for the portion given, the price is worth it. The broth for the prawn noodle soup really had a great depth and strong prawn flavour, which I really loved. The prawns were also cooked to perfection and easy to deshell, which is something I look for when eating seafood. The noodles were also delicious, which complemented the entire dish. The ngoh hiang was very crispy, which I liked. However, I felt it could be a bit less oily. The sauces were sweet and spicy, which I felt complemented the ngoh hiang well. This is one of the best prawn noodle places I have tried and I recommend coming here!
Hokkien Mee is delicious
I tried the Hokkien Mee and the Ngoh Hiang Small Platter (1-2pax). I’m not a noodle person but I found the Hokkien Mee very delicious. If it was a little less salty and less oily, would have been even better. I also tried a bit of the prawn noodle soup and it was really yummy. The soup was very rich in taste. The Ngoh Hiang abet oily, was also rich in taste. Have recommended this place to my friends!
