We visited to celebrate a birthday (Wednesday, 10.30pm) expecting things to be lively as they have been in the past, sadly we were disappointed. We sat outside and it slowly started to gain extra customers but wasn't full. Inside where normally you have to fight to get in, there were only 5 at the bar and no one in the room with the seats and dance floor despite a DJ. The food was OK, the service a little slow but still expensive. Will we go again? Might try a walk-in next time.
The place to be!
The food is always fantastic with generous portions. My favourites dishes are the rack of ribs, Sass burger and truffle pasta. It is a guaranteed good night and the atmosphere is fantastic. We have stayed and partied after dinner until it closed on previous visits! There is also a good chance you may bump into a star or two! If I had one night in Monte Carlo - I would choose to eat and spend it here!
Great Evening at SASS
Great to visit SASS again, not lost its charm! Good menu choices and the food we ordered came without delays and was a pleasure to eat, none of us could fault it. It has an extensive wine list with some bottles costing thousands but we had Rose and Red at the lower end of the price range and they were excellent and highly rated on a wine app. Live entertainment until midnight and then turned into a club and became extremely busy but a great place to be. The entertainment was great!
Best Birthday Dinner
Beautiful property and very attentive staff. Great live music in lounge and the food was EXCELLENT. Fine dining at its best. Best choice for my birthday dinner.
Very bad experience
I arrived for dinner at 9pm with two friends hoping for a fun evening. It was a Friday evening in March 2024, practically last week. The menu had little choice, very expensive dishes and of low quality. OK, that's fine because the real reason for dining in this kind of nightclub is to have a seat after dinner. We order the last bottle of wine around 11.30pm but an unwelcome surprise, at 12pm they take away everything that is on all the tables quickly, and without caring that the bottle was still more than half full. Furthermore they bring the bill without asking, as if to say "clear out". I pay what is on the bill, around 150 euros each, and the waiter rudely points out to me that service is excluded and demands a tip proportionate to the bill. I give 20 euros reluctantly as he deserved much more for his rudeness. Then they place a bucket full of ice on our table because to stay seated we had to order bottles from the disco menu. At which point we left the place very unhappy, I don't think we will ever return.
AVOID
Horrible service and unprofessional staff. I was asked by Laura to leave the table because I ordered only drink and not food, even though the place was almost empty. 10 minutes later they gave me the bill even though I never asked to close the bill. This place literally makes you wants to leave from the moment you enter. I will never come again.
Great Night
First time here and what a great Sunday night! Great music and ambiance, good service and food! Also bumped into a Liverpool and ex England footballer which made one of our parties week! Left at 3am, closed too early!!
It was the last time
I wrote a review a few years ago saying that we ate well at Sass Café. But that was before. Before the Sass Café became a very “St-Tropez” place. That is to say a place where customers are made fun of. We arrive, in 2 seconds the waiter asks “still water or sparkling water?” with the bottles in hand. It's not "do you want some water?" Well no, what matters is that EVERY table starts with water. Considering the margin, normal. The rest is only worse. The service is pushy, rushed and fake. Our waitress didn't crack ONE smile and didn't say much more during the entire dinner. Just too busy to consume quickly. Very quickly. What we ate was mediocre. Nothing is done right away. Everything is below average except the prices and quantities... It is now more expensive and less good (warm black cod child portion... a joke). As for wine prices... it's a (very bad) joke. The multiples are stratospheric and would make a Palace look like a country Ibis. The girls and the gogos have something to please themselves. Brief. An evening to forget and a place we will never go again. Good luck... without us. (NB: the singer who was there was really great)
Not transparent..All they had to do is to inform ahead of time....
They should disclose that at 12 am, even if you are not finished with your dnner, you will need to pay additional $250 for a bottles of vodka, in order to stay at the restaurant. That is all fine, if they would have disclosed that at the time of the reservation or at the very least at the time of seating. This is a common practice in Miami, but in Miami, they tell you this at the time of reservation, so no surprises. At Saas cafe it's a "secret" until they ask you to vacate the table. I can pay $250 or more, it's just the principal, we left and wil spend our money some elsewhere. Not a good business model....
Superb!!
Superb! This restaurant is top notch, i had the steak and it was fantastic, i got to meet the owners and they make you feel very welcome, they are truly especial. by the way the have live music. This is a must visit if you are in Montecarlo.

Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* DistinguishedTree58, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* DistinguishedTree58 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to DistinguishedTree58 for any questions Peter may have as DistinguishedTree58 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* DistinguishedTree58 now uses their connections at Sass Café Monaco to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If DistinguishedTree58 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, DistinguishedTree58 receives the $200 reward which is credited to DistinguishedTree58's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Sass Café Monaco!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
