An amazing chef’s dinner with wine pairing!
There were 6 adults for a wonderful, prearranged, chef’s multi course meal with wine pairing at each course. AMAZING! We started with a an antipasto plate, which consisted of multi Italian meats, assorted cheeses and more. This was followed by a sa
So disappointing
Disappointing. We had high expectations. The food was pretty good but not the caliber we were expecting . The service was extremely lacking. Just not a pleasant experience.
Excellent - go, enjoy!
This was our first time here and there's no doubt we will return. We had been to Otra, their other restaurant just next door several months prior. We enjoyed the tapas style menu offerings and planned to try Bacaro. There were four of us - two
Dinner
Go to place for Meat/Cheese boards. Large selection on the Food menu & Wine menu. Service is always great. Will definitely return.
Special night
Fine dining. The swordfish was a bit thin but the sauce was out of this world. The barolo was good. The chocolate tart was good and the server was professional.
Delicious, but limited service
Delicious food, but service is minimal. It was effortful to get the bartender’s attention to order on a slow night where the place was more than half empty. I wanted an additional glass of wine and to order food, but I waited 40 minutes before the
Great Food, Tolerate the Hostesses
The food is superb and very original. The smelts and sardines (two different dishes) were wonderfully prepared, as were the pork belly, sausage with different condiments, and on and on. They were kind enough to cancel my dinner entree when I realized
A Delight To Return

SKIP IT
We had high hopes for Bacaro, each of which was systematically dashed from the minute we arrived at the property. The parking lot attendant was sarcastic and rude barking at us to read the handwritten notice slapped on the side of the parking lot hu
A new take on traditional recipes
The Bacaro was a great choice . Situated across the street from the river, there's a lot to look at on a sunny evening. Starting off with drinks: creative takes on a pomegraaite martini , perfectly made served as cold as it could be and a Bellini ma

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Bacaro Providence at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Bacaro Providence page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FamousStation67, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* FamousStation67 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FamousStation67 for any questions Peter may have as FamousStation67 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FamousStation67 now uses their connections at Bacaro Providence to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FamousStation67 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FamousStation67 receives the $200 reward which is credited to FamousStation67's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Bacaro Providence!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
