We were downtown for the farmers market and after a nice stroll, some baked goods, and a cup of coffee, we were feeling something more substantial and just so happen to be in the mood for some oysters! The ambiance of ironside is spectacular! Plenty
We had great experience.
The food was incredible. Oysters were all time. But the surprise menu item had to be the Asian yams! The service was absolutely flawless and the ambiance was super fun. Both Dom and Geena were incredible. I can't recommend it enough.

The lobster roll was AWESOME, the service was quick and the atmosphere was very relaxing and enjoyable. Big thanks to Milla for taking care of us. We would love to visit again when we visit my brother in San Diego.
Do NOT miss it!!
We were walking outside, looking for a place to cool down and have some drinks and something to bite. We were lucky to walk inside Ironside, the ambiance was amazing, everybody happy with excellent mood. Drinks were amazing and food superb. Totally
Overpriced and underwhelming.
Definitely a tourist trap. Average food. Average service. Expensive prices. I wasnโt impressed with the menu and when we showed as a party of 8, they said weโd have to do a $85 minimum per person if we wanted to sit together. We wonโt be
This place is a nasty tourist trap ......overpriced and understaffed.
This restaurant experience was horrible , the oysters were the size of a gumball, stringy and tasteless ! I dont mind spending the money but the food was terrible. We also ordered baked clams , since we were still hungry after almost $200 wo

Great evening.
We had a fun night at this establishment. Good food and excellent bar tenders. We will certainly recommend Ironside to friends.
Good Fish
We ate outside on a beautiful sunny day! Monday Lunch was not crowded. Their fresh fish was the halibut, and was prepared two ways. We each ordered on and shared. The halibut with the miso soup and sesame seeds had more flavor and a better combin
It was a good, but not exceptional, experience.
Even though we had a reservation for two, and tables were empty, it still took about 15-20 minutes to be seated. My husband and I ordered the oysters Rockefeller, crab and artichoke dip, and the fish and chips. The crab and artichoke dip was the star

Whenever we're in San Diego, we love going to Ironside.
This last visit was another winner with oysters, octopus and the catch of the day, and ending with a pavlova. This time, we sat at the bar and the service there is just as good as when we're sitting at the table. We'll be looking forward to our next

We were told the wait was 40 minutes. We ended up waiting an hour and 10 minutes. Totally understand sometimes tables donโt turn as quickly so I could be patient but an acknowledgement would have been nice. We sat down and ordered the small platter
Put off.
Terrible service asked to be seated in a table right next to the section that was open to accommodate 4 guests and our dog. They would not accommodate our request and the waitress was rude and saidโyou do youโ. Decided with that type of attitude
Worth a visit, but skip the martini "service"
A really nice time! Great food and staff and the cocktails were wonderful. I would, however, skip the "martini service" as the martini itself is both small AND substandard; sure, the presentation is cute...but for like $30? Insane.
Disappointing food and service.
The ambience was nice, the appetiser and clam chowder were good. However, everything else was super salty. The crab dip, yellow tail, lobster roll n fries were so salty we could not even finish half of our food. What gives? To make matters worse, we

Super bad service! The waiters have attitude, inattentive and rude! Never going back!
I ordered the swordfish with bone broth and veggies.
The swordfish was cooked to perfection but the bone broth sauce was really the star of the show! Ended the meal with an espresso and banana pudding -- divine! 10/10 all around!
My favorite happy hour place for food and $1 oysters.
I loveee it here. Service and food is always so amazing ! I come here probably every 2 weeks. The freshest oysters. The lobster roll is amazing , great happy hour deals and the chowder is quite nice too ! They have a great array of hot sauces and th

Absolutely phenomenal.
What a cute setting in little Italy! Loved the oysters and amazing lobster rolls!!! Will be back!
Service was a bit scattered, but not terrible.
Wait staff and hostess were friendly. Food was terrific! Chef's choice crudo was fantastic. Steamed clams were perfect...I would have preferred some sourdough with it, but their bread was ok. We will definitely be back.
Wellโฆ. A miss. Should have been better.
Had heard great things but overall a disappointment for the price point. We were seated at the bar (unexpected but ok) and we sat there for several minutes before anyone came. Then we saw no one for about 12 minutes and had to ask for water and
Fabulous late lunch of oysters & lobster with a delicious glass of chilled rose wine!
Really superb late lunch enjoyed at Ironside, an old Iron works building in Little Italy - phenomenal oysters (6 different types to choose from or do as we did and try them all!) and an entire lobster which was very expensive but also very delicious
Good food poor service
Food was good. We sat on the street and watched the world go by. Service was poor, drinks took a long time to come and it was not possible to order a second drink before weโd finished eating as we could get our servers attention.
Delicious and fresh
We had an enjoyable evening sitting at the chefs counter/table at this bustling seafood restaurant in busy Little Italy. I was able to make a counter reservation the same day for a Thursday evening spot at 6. Service was a bit slow, and they chang
Great seafood platters.
