Kylie guided us through a fantastic meal.
This is a definite must stop when in Portland Maine. Great setting just off the cobblestone street. Job well done to all.

A go to restaurant when we have visitors
My favourite Portland restaurant, always comes through with consistency of service and food, all be it a noisy restaurant to chat to visitors from away. Nice that they still keep a small bar area for drinks while waiting for the table. Charming Old P
Loved everything about this spot.
I was in town for the weekend with my husband, and a friend recommended this spot. I'm glad I was able to get a reservation because it seemed to be thoroughly booked up with other couples trying to walk in with a long wait. Service was so kind a
My favorite since 1989.
Consistently good every single time. Sole Francais is to die for! Friendly, efficient service. Lovely ambiance but VERY loud.
Teeny Tiny weeny Portions
I ordered the monkfish “with shrimp and gnocchi” I just can’t get over how incredibly puny the portion was. The monkfish was 70 percent bone with at the maximum 3 oz of fish along side three tiny shrimp and two gnocchi the size of a quarter. N

We came to Maine for a girls' trip, and this restaurant was recommended by the front desk lady at our hotel. We didn't have reservations, so we decided to come right at 5 p.m. for walk-in seating definitely the best choice, because if you a
Delightful dinner with friends tonight.
All exclaimed throughout the night on flavors brought out. The bread is delicious, the oysters fresh, the Leek soup heartily good. The friend that had the lobster loved the flavor and my seared scallops were perfectly cooked. Overall a great experie
Good experiences in the past. Not this time! I won't be back.
I ordered the grilled lobster. The small split tail meat was soft, fishy and mealy. When I notified the waitress, she said I couldn't send it back because I had eaten some. Wow, what a crappy attitude from one of Portland's better restauran
Great experience
We spent three days in Portland and this was our favorite restaurant. Everything was delicious! Try the smoked salmon appetizer!
Great Dinner
Street and Company offers a cozy and welcoming setting in the heart of Portland. The service was excellent—attentive and friendly without being rushed. Every dish we tried was delicious, from the creamy clam chowder to the perfectly cooked bran
Best reservation I could get was for 7:15pm on a Tuesday.
That day it was on the cold side for outside seating even though they had heaters. We ordered oyster, Bluefin Tuna, cod and Corvina. The Corvina was the special of the day. The Tuna and Corvina were very good. The cod was on the salty side. My r

Street and Co was one of the best dinners I've had! We had a 5:15 bar reservation and it was so much fun watching them make drinks and shuck oysters. There's plenty of table space for those worried about bar seating. The service was top!
Local Fave
Upon a recommendation by a local we ate here and luckily had made a reservation weeks prior. We had scallops and fish along with a salad and oysters. Unfortunately they forgot to put the oyster order in so we had them after the meal which ended up fi

The restaurant was very busy on a Saturday night.
You definitely need reservations. They have a bar area where you can eat dinner and 2 dining rooms in the back. A single unisex toilet is at the bottom of the stairs. I Most of the staff were friendly with the exception of one. He never smiled, or
Highly recommend
We are from Louisiana, so we were not interested in any seafood except lobster. We Both ordered the Grilled Lonster served with linguine. Excellent!!! It’s the first time i’ve walked out of a restaurant fully satisfied. Well done.
The "Tuna Special Bolognese" is beyond amazing.
. Shen they say make a reservation.. even for the bar seats.. I advise it. The food is worth it! Enjoy
With so many great spots in Portland, the service has gone down hill here. Try another place.
I truly dislike posting a review like this, but our experience was very disappointing. We spent over $600 for four people and unfortunately the service fell far short of expectations. Two dinners came out first, the third arrived about 7–8 minutes

Follow the Cobblestone Road
Food and service excellent. When and if I ever get back to Portland ME it is their blueberry sorbet that will bring me back to this place. 5 stars
This seems to be a very popular restaurant.
We got a reservation in the bar which lets you sit at a counter in bar/waitress station. I would recommend trying to get in the dining room if possible. Our waitress was very personable and did a great job. We started with some oysters that were v
Great Dinner
We had a great experience at this restaurant. The wait staff was superb. Our waitress was at at table with water and menus as soon as we were seated by the host. The menu is limited by purpose, my wife had the mussels and I had the grilled lobster.
Grilled lobster was delicious, and beer was cold.
But to this (and so many) restaurants: single diners deserve better than your worst tables. I was basically sitting at the wait station - I caught up on all the latest gossip in between plates, flatware, and coffeemaker noise. Just ruined the experie

Best in Portland, in the center of the action.
Historic building with beautiful decor/ambiance. We both had great meals. Pricey but worth it.
Excellent Seafood with no "Extra fees"
This is my favourite Portland restaurant still. It is crowded, cozy, noisy and very busy. Situated on the old cobble stone street with no street access. They still have a small bar space for pre-dinner drinks. It is for sure a seafood restaurant, the
Consider the history of this place..
Food are service is great. The space is a crowded basement with low ceilings and is incredibly loud. If you don’t mind that, go, it’s apparently the original waterfront of Portland. Located in a very nasty alley full of trash and hundreds of c
So over-rated!!! And expensive
I hate to write a bad review ever, and especially when the staff is friendly. BUT … this place is an overrated mess. It started bad when the soda came flat. They offered to replace it, and the replacement was flat. The beer I ordered was lukewarm.
We “lucked out “ to get a reservation on Open Table about 4 days before our trip. Our reservation was at 7:15 but we weren’t seated until 7:40. We also heard another person complain about waiting 1/2 hour for a 7:00 reservation. Finally seated,
Very fun relaxed meal. Good company. Great food. Amazing wine list.
We originally had a reservation for 8 pm. We decided to try to get an earlier time slot and they were very accommodating. Sat at the bar and spent the evening talking with the guys working the oyster bar. They were great. Our waitress was awesome and
Mostly a Fail
Disappointment. We had heard so much good about this place. First fail was the 20 minute wait to check in, even though we had a reservation. They seem to prioritize helping walk ins. But walk ins and reservations wait in the same long line. Hence

Longstanding seafood restaurant with a well deserved reputation for excellence. Scored a table the same day for dinner. The restaurant is on a cobblestone street and has several inviting and lively rooms and a comfortable bar/waiting area. We had an

We had not been back to Street and Company for a few years, and this visit did not disappoint. We made the reservations a month ago even though we were not in peak season. I’ll note that Google maps says you can drive on Dana Street and the down

I had some of the best maine oysters ever here. Freshly shucked by a charming young lady at the bar counter and served with good wines. The lobster dish was very fresh but the pasta was bland. The asparagus and sauce gribiche was good. Its worth v
Great Night
Such a charming restaurant. The lobster Diavolo was amazing. Flavors were excellent. Huge portion. More than enough for two. Service was excellent. Fun first night in Portland.
Go. Just go.
Absolutely worth the hype. One of the best meals I've had in months. Highly recommend the scallops and the broccolini side if they have it.
Nice decor with great service from Charlie
Celebrating an anniversary with Street & Co. Lucky to get an early reservation with only a week’s notice. Had a nice corner table in the first dining room with the kitchen. Was able to see these chefs do their magic. Menu is all fish and w
Go eat dinner here!
Fabulous food, staff and atmosphere! Every course was delicious! Reasonably priced! Try the tuna or the linguini and have dessert! Oysters fresh!
Lives Up To Its Reputation
This is a popular place which requires a reservation (well) in advance if you can plan ahead. The food quality is very good, with a good range of choices for starters, mains + dessert. The wine list was adequately good. The service is also very
