Better hotels in the area - Not 4 Star
This is a 4 Star hotel looking at the lobby and the restaurants but nothing else. The rooms are incredibly underwhelming. Cheaply done with no real interior design. The beds are without a doubt some of the worst for a hotel and the pillows the same.

Only reason why I stayed at the hotel was because our group had a room block.
The room smelled like vomit and cigarettes. I requested a room change and was told they were fully committed. The smell got worse when the AC kicked on. Also I had to request the shower gel get refilled.

Great option in West Loop
Had not stayed here since it was the Ace Hotel, and the room aesthetics have not changed (minimalist, good use of space, sink outside bathroom, cool vibe). But what struck me as better was how friendly the service was - from check-in/out to housekeep

Our experience was wonderful at The Emily. I only had an issue with the amenities in the shower. There aren’t enough hooks or places for your bath, hair towels, or robes. VERY inconvenient!!!
