This has been a great spot for both family and date nights :) service is always friendly, and they're always willing to share their favourite dishes on the menu with us. I love the rotating menu of the seasons, and the flavours that each dish brings
We chose Comal to host a 50th birthday celebration.
It was the event of a lifetime. Not only is the space so beautiful, but cocktails, food, and service are top notch. I wouldn't hesitate to host another event there for a second. And anyone who's considering it - just do it! You won't be disappointed.

I was so excited to go to Comal as it was listed as a “must-go” place in Berkeley. As it is considered a pioneer in high-end Mexican food. Honestly, I was not impressed - it was average in quality and the waitstaff could not wait to get you out.
