A world-famous Wagyu beef barbecue restaurant in Tokyo! The omakase course, which can be enjoyed at the counter, is recommended! Mr. Nakahara is also fluent in English, so you can enjoy the yakiniku while conversing with him at the counter. The food is beautifully arranged, and the owner is a very nice person.
Amazing yakiniku!
A culinary extravaganza for our first night in Tokyo featuring numerous varieties of exquisitely fresh and thinly sliced beef, including Wagyu beef tongue! All cooked table-side over a charcoal grill. The katsu beef sando was amazing. And the “hormones” (loose translation for offal) were a must try (our curiosities included beef cheek, stomach, and aorta).
If you love beef you need to dine here for this unique experience
This was one of the most amazing dining experiences of my life. If you like beef you need to dine here and request a counter seat (4,000 Yen extra pp). Also the tongue which is a house speciality is wonderful (three different cuts). Come with a appetite as there are a lot of courses. Note: "with hormones" means internal organs which we passed on once we learned what that meant.
One of the best meals of my life
Simply perfect. Do whatever you can to get a counter seat at this restaurant. Chef Henry is a master of his craft and he also sets the tone of true hospitality throughout the restaurant. I’ve eaten at Per Se, the French Laundry and Masa and this meal was easily better than all 3. Thank you, Chef!

The meal at Nakahara is pure perfection. Each bite is a memorable experience to be savored! Farm-to-table concept at its best, the menu will show the chef’s appreciation for sourcing the highest quality wagyu beef. As the meal progresses, you will be blown away by the expert care and phenomenal flavor. The filet of steak sandwich will be one of the best things you’ll ever eat — hands down — it’s incredible!

We had a truly excellent dinner here. The food and service offered by the owner Kentaro Nakahara and his team was first class. Everything was grilled directly in front of us and before each dish he explained what we were having and how he suggested to eat it. The service was knowledgeable, attentive and charming, and the taste and quality of the food absolutely amazing. We visited several great restaurants during our trip to Tokyo, but this was everyone’s favorite! PS: try to get a seat and the counter if possible
Consistent perfection
I've been to Tokyo a dozen times and it still stuns me how every single trip, nobody ever tops Nakahara-san. He is so consistently perfect, it is truly stunning. The man has never had a sick day in his life, and that sort of painstaking devotion to his craft shows up in the food. He still makes by far the best wagyu sando in the world, and the yakiniku experience is second to none. Do yourself a favor and book yourself a reservation or two, every other meal you have in tokyo is going to pale in comparison.

* PerceptiveWash44 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to PerceptiveWash44 for any questions Peter may have as PerceptiveWash44 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* PerceptiveWash44 now uses their connections at Sumibi Yakiniku Nakahara Arakicho to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If PerceptiveWash44 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, PerceptiveWash44 receives the $200 reward which is credited to PerceptiveWash44's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
